Woodinville Civic Center

  • New Construction: Mixed-Use + Multi Family Project

This project is mixed-use multi-family located in downtown Woodinville. In partnership with the City, the design restores, repurposes and redevelops the site and existing buildings adjacent to City Hall to create a central gathering space for the community where public and private uses intermingle. An existing historic schoolhouse has been transformed into a retail food hall that opens onto a series of courtyard gathering spaces, and an existing YMCA building redeveloped to expand program opportunities and incorporate multi-family housing above. Ground-level retail, live-work spaces and a large open lawn looking out onto adjacent public sports fields, further activate the space. A urban scale pedestrian walk features ground-level wine tasting rooms and opens to a community lawn and plaza overlooking the adjacent sports fields.

A festival street connects the athletic fields to the YMCA and civic center, and reaches out to the multi-family residential development directly adjacent, as well as to a key regional amenity, the Woodin Creek Trail. City Hall, located directly south of the project, further anchors the development’s civic identity. Construction is scheduled to be complete in 2021.
